We regularly work with actors, puppeteers and creatives at various stages of our work and any opportunities will be advertised here. We also take on freelancers from time to time, details of which will be advertised here as they present themselves. If you would like to send us your CV and tell us a bit about yourself, then please do.

We’re really thrilled to announce our next round of workshops! Previous workshops sold out completely (even after extra dates were added), so early booking is highly recommended!

Back by hugely popular demand, come and join a classful of makers, designers and other creatives to get a jam-packed insight into the way we approach puppet design and making

Whether you’ve made puppets before or are new to the craft, this course will give you a practical overview of the entire process of designing, making and refining a puppet for performance.

Over the two days you will explore:

  • How design can respond to the needs of a story

  • A range of approaches to 2 and 4 legged puppets

  • Using anatomical research to inform your designs

  • Using a range of materials, techniques, joints and mechanisms

  • Creating subtle controls that give your puppet a richness and sensitivity in performance

All materials are supplied for this workshop, you’ll just need to bring along a small kit of basic tools which are readily available from craft and DIY stores.

Dates: 15th-16th June 2019
Venue: The Workshop, Vauxhall, London, UK
Cost: £150.00 per person
